Surprise Birthday Present

Finally something out of the ordinary (and time to post it)! This past Saturday Josh was surprised with an early birthday present. The St. Louis Cardinals and Memphis Redbirds had an exhibition game in town, and low and behold...we happened to have tickets at the Will Call box! lol Needless to say (but I will anyway), Josh was ecstatic to see some of the best players in the league. He also loved the ice cream in a helmet :-P.
After the game we dropped by the Botanical Gardens and meandered around taking in all the flowers and the great weather.
If anyone is wondering, "What's up with the plastic doll?"...well, here it is. My niece has a school project based on the book Flat Stanley. The plastic doll is Flat Mikayla (my niece) and she needed to have some fun in Memphis then go back to WI with photos, souvenirs, etc. She went to the Pyramid, "M" bridge, Redbird's Stadium, The Peabody, rode a trolley, and looked at flowers at the Garden. And yes. People thought we were nuts holding a plastic doll. We loved it!
